What we ask for
If you join the early access list, we keep your email address, and your first name if you gave one. Nothing on that form is required except the email address and the box confirming you are 13 or older.
After you join, you can tap whether you are a student, a parent or a teacher, and roughly when you are taking the SAT. Those taps are optional, they are stored apart from your email address, and skipping them changes nothing about your place on the list.
We also record which link brought you here, when the address you arrived on carried one. That is the part of the web address after ?, and it tells us which post or message someone found us through.
What we do with it
We email you once, when early access opens. We use the optional answers to decide who to open up to first. That is all of it.
We do not sell your details, rent them, trade them, or hand them to advertisers. There are no advertising trackers on this page.
When you contact us
The contact form sends your name, email address, and message to Tom so he can read and reply. It does not add you to the early access list. Avoid including sensitive student records in your message.
We use short-lived, coded identifiers to limit repeated submissions. The rate-limit records do not contain your message, email address, or raw IP address.
Who else can see it
- Supabase stores the list. It is a database host in the United States.
- Vercel runs the website and counts anonymous visits. Those counts cannot be tied back to you.
- Resend sends messages submitted through the contact form. It processes your name, email address, and message for delivery.
When we set up the service that sends the launch email, this list will name it too, before the first email goes out.
How long we keep it
Until early access opens and for twelve months after, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If the product never launches, the list is deleted.
Having it deleted
Use the contact form with the email address you signed up with and say you want to be removed. We will delete it within 30 days and write back to say it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we will send it to you.
If you are under 13
This list is not for you yet. If you joined anyway, or if you are a parent who thinks your child did, use the contact form and we will delete the entry.
If this changes
The date at the top changes with it. If we ever want to use your details for something not described here, we will ask you first.
